ADFA is excited to announce the 2026 Edmonton Region Adult One Act Play Festival which will take place April 17-18, 2026 at WWPT, Gateway Theatre.

This year we are accepting 9 submissions. Over two days, we will have 3 sessions with 3 one acts per session depending on the running time of each. Festival acceptance will be on a first come-first serve basis. If we receive more than nine submissions, they will go onto a waiting list as they are received.  If you choose to submit more than one production, please indicate which one is your first choice, as we are committed to giving opportunities to as many different groups as possible, which means if we receive more than 9 different applications from 9 different groups, your first choice will be the one presented.

Registration Requirements:

  • A completed registration form needs to be completed and submitted no later than Sunday, January 11th, 2026 with a $50 dollar non-refundable registration fee.
