The Edmonton Region of the Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA) proudly presents its StageStruck!OneActPlayFestival on April 17 & 18, 2026. The 2026 festival will feature nine plays covering a wide array of genres from comedy to Post-Apocalyptic Dramas. The line-up this year includes seven new works by local playwrights and two previously produced works.

The 2026 festival has three sessions, with a short public adjudication by the Festival’s Adjudicator after each session. Following the Saturday evening session, awards will be presented for Outstanding Production, Outstanding Performances (2), Outstanding New Work and Outstanding Direction. There will also be a Technical Director’s award and an Alberta Playwrights’ Network prize for Outstanding New Work presented to the playwright. Each group receives a private adjudication.
