Prior Years

In May 2018, ADFA Heartland Region celebrated their second Regional Festival in many years. We know there are amazing and dedicated theater groups and local playwrights in the region that would love to showcase their talents at this regional festival. The 2019 festival will take place at the Ol'Moose Hall in Innisfail and is tentatively booked for both Friday April 26th and Saturday April 27th. The festival will again feature a professional adjudicator who will provide feedback to all entrants and will choose a winning one act. Groups who enter the ADFA Heartland Region One Act Play Festival should be aware, if chosen as the winning one act, will need to make themselves available to participate in the provincial festival that will be held in High River Alberta May 3rd and May 4th 2019. Original works are encouraged to be entered and performed.

Please spread the word and encourage all interested actors, directors, playwrights in the region to contact the ADFA Heartland Regional Representative Christine Chalaturnyk. Applications for our festival are open and welcomed! Please see the ADFA webpage for forms, rules and regulations etc.
