2016 - Grande Prairie

2016 was a difficult year for the Provincial Festival, as it was originally scheduled to take place in Fort McMurray at the end of May. However, the horrific Horse River Wildfire was tearing through the region, and our fellow thespians in the North had to evacuate. Everyone made it out safe, and the Peace Country Region stepped up and organized the Provincial Festival with less than two weeks to prepare.
